Again, just STEPS OUTSIDE THE DOORS of BOTH the Cozy Cabin and the Moose House, Cooper Creek Square has everything you'll need to make your stay THE BEST EVER. 

Of course, it's fun to play together, but it's perfect convenience for each guest to take time on their own and not worry about having a car to "get them somewhere."

 Cooper Creek Square offers everything from Jana's favorite bakery called Bake Haus 232, with fresh coffee and yummy pasteries, to a gourmet's delight with options from around the world. Casa Mexico, Durbar Nepalese & Indian Bistro, Paella’s Restaurant, Big Trout Brewing Co. (LOVE their beers and easy menu!)

This tiny town square even has a shop that makes their own chocolate... Monarch Lake Chocolate & Coffee Co.

Jana's favorite "night out" is going to Adventures Decanted featuring over 60 hand-selected wines by the glass, plus charcuterie,  imported cheeses, flatbread pizzas, homemade spreads and desserts.

Besides all of these yummy places, Cooper Creek Square has a huge fire pit to enjoy, and a ton of shops for last minute gifts. Everything from clothing, souvenirs, jewelry, even a general store... AGAIN... RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET!

What can we say? WINTER PARK SKI RESORT- the closest ski resort to Denver - is known for it's amazing winter sports and you won't be disappointed. Great for all levels of skiers, beautiful views, easy lifts and convenient gondolas. Don't forget Mary Jane mountain! Heavenly for all winter sports!

We have the fun, smaller sledding hill, which is a five minute walk to Hideaway Park from this property. BUT we also have two INCREDIBLE tubing hills for the more robust experience - great for both kids and adults! They both have easy, moving walkways up to the top of the hills.  One of the two tubing hills even has a fire pit at the bottom where you can buy marshmallows for s'mores! GRAND LAKE! Experience the tranquility of this breathtaking lake during your stay with us. After a peaceful, 40-minute drive, you find yourself in this tiny town PACKED with shops, restaurants, history. 

 Definitely save some time to experience it... especially in the summer. Shadow Mountain Lake and Lake Granby are right next to Grand Lake, too. Both beautiful and so worth the drive. Rent a boat if you can. It's one of our favorite "zen" moments.

Besides having some great picnic and campsites available near the lakes, enjoy fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, AND fun pedal boats. Or, if you're braver than we are, do some water skiing or take a plunge and swimming in the refreshing (but CHILLY) water. 

The lakes here are unforgettable.
