Actually super simple from Denver International Airport:

From airport, follow exit signs to I-70 West.
Follow I-70 West all the way to ext 232 (US-40).
Take US-40 up mountain pass, to Winter Park.
5 min past resort, turn left on Vasquez Rd.
Turn right on Lions Gate Drive.
Turn left at Moose House & Cozy Cottage!

(Both places have log siding & green roof)

We are so proud of Winter Park's super convenient bus service. It will pick you up/drop you off right across the street at Cooper Creek. It's great for:

>Skiers who don't want to ski as early as the rest of the group, or who want to come back to the place to grab the first shower.

>Guests who just want to be independent and hit the grocery store or the Rec Center on their own. Walk across the street and catch The Lift!

>FREE!

Life in the mountains = No a/c needed ❤️

To escape the heat from Denver, head for the hills... or in this case... the mountains. Our places stay cool through most of the summer, but it it does get warmer, we have provided a fan for the Cozy Cabin and ceiling fans in two of the bedrooms in the Moose House. Or, just enjoy the fresh air by opening the windows in both places. It realllllly cools down at night, even in the summer.

(We do get the occasional train or a car driving by as the property is located between Lions Gate and a railroad track on the other side of the creek, but neither rarely get mentioned. Most people even love the "old fashioned" vibe of a train going through all of Winter Park.) Extra Bonus: Falling asleep listening to the creek.
